Tickets £40 farmers, £80 industry

The LandAlive Winter Conference brings together the food and farming sector from across the South West and beyond to explore one key question: how do we build more profitable and resilient businesses for the future?

We’ll explore how farmers, land managers, food processors, distributors and retailers can create more value from soil, water, land and livestock, strengthen regional supply chains, and unlock opportunities through on-farm or local processing, storage, distribution, shared assets and ownership. We’ll also consider how businesses can respond to future shocks and make the most of emerging opportunities.

We will examine business, financial and collaborative models that show where value can be created and costs reduced. We’ll consider future trends, challenges and opportunities, and how businesses across the region are responding. There will be space to share the commercial and personal challenges of working in food and farming, alongside regional examples of supply chains in action, from primary producer to end-buyer.

Hear from farmers and entrepreneurs already restoring soils, retaining water in the landscape and building regional food enterprises. They’ll share what has worked, what hasn’t, and what the numbers look like in a changing policy landscape, with practical insights to take back to your own business.
